So I have like 3 kajillion dollars to spend on some 6.5s, but I won't actually go and listen to some sets myself because I'm too cheap to drive 30-40miles to the nearest dealer. Whats the best set of speakers I can get?

the thing with that is where can you go near you or "30- 40miles" that you can hear a set of RE, diamond, rainbow, dynoaudio? i know i have no place near me at all that i can go and listen to these. as would love too. Granted I know that shouldnt buy a speaker that you havent heard for yourself. and you really should go buy something just because some one says its good.

Same for the subs. I would have loved to go hear some FI,DD, TC, RE, RD, subs but no one carrys them.

I know what you mean, the nearest dealer is pretty far, but I was making a point about the idiocies that too many put out there. Even I, get sick of seeing the same posts and I haven't even been here long enough. What really gets to me tho is lack of information. I want a really good sounding 6.5. And thats all they say. How much do you want spend, what kind of sound are you looking for, power going to them etc. I like bread.

Then he sold a redneck some 200 dollar JL wires. I told him he was getting ripped off but apparently he schooled me when he said that JL wires are top of the line wires and those internet ones are made out of weird shit and **** balls.

Oh yeah, and i agree with the 30-40 miles thing. I mean, 30-40 miles isn't that far if you think about, like what 30, 40 minutes? I mean just go out one day and look.

I wish i had dealers like that. I don't have any DD dealers. I even searched at 250 miles, their is not one dealer within 250 miles of my house that is a DD dealer. I'm stuck with Rockford and JL.

It's always been that way. Little kids with mommy and daddy's unlimited money, or people with a couple thousand dollars who say the have unlimited money, and when people suggest $20k setups, they change their.

And Fi is just the current forum boner. Just like DD, RE, SI, etc. have all been at one time.
