Sub Forum needed a fresh poll

This is not an ADVICE NEEDED POLL..just a curious gauge on what you would "THINK" right off the Bat..I am curious to the results.

All other factors such as SUB choice would be equal.all Components would be equal.so fill in your favorite sub/components into each choice...All Wattage the same...This is based just on a initial impression if you saw this set up in a Vehicle and the Judging was based by voters.. and your friend wanted to bet you cash on who would win the Vote as best SQ

Simply put...you pick the Sub Maker but which configuration would you put your money on

This poll came to me after hearing a Debate between 2 Car audio Experts..one of them a USCAI Judge who insisted I go with 2 10"s sealed for SQ and a veteran installer who claims you always go for Surface Area regardless of enclosure???

Yet seeing a swing towards going with the multiple 8's in Car Audio feature Articles??

Personally it depends but i would mostly go with a sealed box for a SQ comp. I choose 12's since personally they are my fav for all around sound.

Thats what I am curious about...If the "SURFACE" area equation comes into play with SQ opinion...I have seen alot go towards the 4 8" sub choice in thier rides made for SQ and this deviates from what I would think..I like 2 10's sealed??

Id have to go with the 2 10's sealed. Very quick and responsive, the 12's are very similar though. I guess from personal experience, I like the 10s as far as SQ goes. Best all around sub is a 12, but as far as this poll goes...2 10s sealed.

Alot of factors go into SQ basically the car acoustics and entire system so yea we cant base it off subs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but jsut for say I still prefer 12's sealed. Also huge woofers arent really used in SQ comps like 18's not that ive seen anyway.

i'd do the 4 eights sealed....mustly because sq is about presentation as well as staging...ans with 4 eights..i can have two in the back and two in custom pods up front......the ultimate staging and presentation...or at least i'd hope..

2 10s sealed-Less is more in sq, as long as you got a good healthy low end thats all thatd needed.
