then again, prices are dropping here. we are down to about 3.30 for regular. it was around 3.70

Yeah its about 3.20-3.40 in my area. And last week or so it was I think 3.68 when I filled up. I was like wow 40$ to fill up my shit car...

$3.09/Gallon here in Kirbyville, Texas. If I was financially stable at the moment, I'd trade off my current vehicle and get a hybrid.

It may seem cheap. But the standard of living is really low here and people get paid equally is low. I never thought that I'd want to go out and buy a civic. But I'm really starting to think about it

x2. All of so cal's gas prices are around there. By my house regular is 3.35 at ARCO and 3.25 by my gf's house. By my work the gas at 76 is 3.43. I found ARCO to be the cheapest in price and greatly varies in the area.

Pshh, I wish I was doing that. I'm puttin in $200, sometimes more per month for a 4 banger Accord.

I just looked into Hybrid's and theyre expensive. That ugly p.o.s. Toyota Prius is like 25k when a small *** vehicle like that should be like 13-15k. On top of that, what i've heard is if you don't change your driving habits, say if you accelerate quick, speed, etc. then there won't be too much of a difference between a hybrid or normal vehicle.
