Decent school. I work with a few Iowa guys, so they hate ISU. I went to NIU(Northern Illinois University). Coulda gone to OSU or MIT, but I decided to stay local. Also the government didn't wanna help fund me, so I had to pay that back. NIU made it so I didn't have to take out private loans. So it is what it is. They had an alright program and I make good money with my education. I'd love to get a PHD so I can be called "Doctor" lol. And I love to learn. But I think I'd end up being overqualified for a lot of jobs with a PHD though.

I work on an oil rig... Do completion and well servicing so even if they were to stop drilling I should still have a job these company's out here do hire college kids for the summer ... Expecially if they are engineering majors.... My coworkers son does it school all year then works out here for the 2.5 months he's got off and he made 24k take home last year in that time
