i dont think it was, it was more like a new aged kinda jet game, you had photon cannons, spread ballistics, torpedos, missiles, big o bombs n all that lol

That is one that came to mind first, that was my favorite, there was another, but that is the one that came to my mind off the bat. You had a jet, and then as you progressed you got more to the jet, spread weapons and missles, you had tanks and so forth.
