Who knows about Kenwood Tornado subs?

I knoww they aren't great but a friend of mine has a pair and asked me to build her a custom box for them. I agreed but would like to know a little about them. I googled and searched, couldn't find much. I'm thinking 3.5 cubes ported at 35hz.

hey i had 2 of those 12's, each in 2.6 cu ft 3" round port 6" long and it was pretty f***ing loud off 300 RMS. and btw that was tuned to ~30 hz with maximum flat extension. it was awesome

I have two 12" Kenwoods and theyre in a 2 cube sealed box for 1 cube per sub and its not bad.. theyre not that bad for entry level subs, but thats what they are, entry level

2.6 each? sounds kinda big, i like it. I dunno if she'll want a 5 cube box however.

yea it was pretty big, i got plenty of pics of the build if your interested. it was def. worth takin up my whole trunk. NIGHT AND DAY diff over sealed 1 cu ft
