I am rebuilding a dd 99z sub 1 ohm dvc. The price will be for $1000.00. I was suppose to sell it to a friend of mine, however, I havent heard from him in about 2 weeks. If anyone is interested let me know. It can be recone to a 10, 12 or a 15. So if anyone is interested let me know. Rarely do people hear 99z's on music, I hear them every day in Stevens Foots xterra and they sound great. As with any sub, in the right box they hit every note tight and accurately.

no the first gen was black and the second gen was silver....there is no difference tho in the motor

Dude I am not going to get in a pissing match with you! The first gen was silver, the second gen was all black, then they came out with the second gen with red pole piece! I speak to DD all the time, there is a difference in the motors! The first gen has a wider gap because the first gen coil won't fit in this motor! I know, DD sent me the wrong coil once and it would not fit! And this is a second gen motor with the black pole piece! If anyone see a silver 99z motor it is a first gen! And you can call DD and verify if ya want!
