I've had my D300HC for about 5 years now. I also used to have an older matching 2-channel. Both amps were/are great. I'm using the D300HC on a 15" fiQ (build in progress). The amp is rated 600wrms@4ohm, 1200wrms@2ohm and 1900wrms@1ohm. Mine is not modded to be one ohm stable but with the gains set low it runs fine, never gets warm. the FiQ15 is going to be reconed to dual 1ohm soon so I can run the amp at 2ohm. It benched over 2100wrms @ 2ohms 14.4v.

The amp is a power house especially with the small footprint it has. I'm not sure about their new stuff, don't really care for the way the new amps look but if the build quality is the same looks don't matter too much. 2100 rms @ 2ohms? ****n dude thats the highest rating ive seein on a d300hc

I'm running there new mmats amps, cant wait to see how they perform.

I have run every model of the older HC models and they are all stellar performers.

D300hc's down to a .5 ohm for burps unmodded. Clamped at over 1.5k

The modded amps are a bit delicate , go too low and they are toast. No protection circuitry.

I have compared the D100hc against the D200hc and D300hc and they all put out around the same when loaded. You can count on 1400-1500 watts from them regardless.

I still have a pair of D300HC's and a 2200.1 along with the SQ series amps that are in my daily driver. I bought my 1st one in 98 and have loved them since.

i remember when the d300/200/and 100hc's all came out, they had white, black and chrome i believe, altho its been a while.... im pretty sure on the chrome and white ones.... there was a shop around here with 4 juggs on 4 of the d300hc's....

My D300HC was modded and still had the protection circuit. Ran it at one ohm. Not sure how much power, but more than the RE 35.1 it replaced.

You can get the D300HC modded 1ohm with the protection circuit still there. I might send it in to them and do that if I decide to run another FiQ15 in the future which is quite possible. If it benched over 2100wrms at 2ohm when only rated at 1200wrms I can imagine what it does at 1ohm stable. Its rated at 1900wrms at 1ohm not modded.

The 100/200/300 came in black, white and nickel plated. Mine is black but I might have it plated or powdercoated.
