Sanded it down and attached. Held tight. We found the grommet on his, a '95, on the passenger side firewall, pretty far down. With the V8 instread of the 6 in there may be harder to see if it's even still there in '96. Once the wire is through the grommet we could easily pull the passenger carpet and see it and pull rest of the way through. Hope this helps.</p></blockquote><p></p>
