**** Deerhunter! You have really bulked up bro! What you weighing in at these days and what are you maxing?
Also, what are you taking :p
That pic was taken in September. Back then I was around 192 I think, with a max bench of 345. Don't max on squat or deadlift.

Now I am sitting at 5'7" 200pounds. Just started back a 5x5 program on bench, squat, and deadlift. Next week I'll be benching 295 5x5. Around mid-march I look to be able to bench 360.

All I am taking is protein and creatine. All I have ever taken. Get accused of steroids all the time though. Try to get 1gram of protein per pound of bodyweight and get at least 3k calories a day.

I assume that 5x5 program is working out for you pretty well? I've read a couple places that for routine workouts, 2-3 exercises for each muscle grouping at 3-4 sets of 8-12 reps each is optimal. You ever try anything like that and get good results?

i get told all the time when i do my hair up i look like the lead singer from rascall flatts lol kinda guy but i have actually got drunk with 2 of my huge buddys and went to the country bar that has alot of big coutry singers go there and i actually had like 4 girls leave with us lol they though i was him.I am sure it was because we went at 1am and they were drunk but i got laid so i dont give a crap

Yeah. I switch up programs every 10-12 weeks. Just got off of a workout similar to the one you mentioned. 3-4 exercises per bodypart for 4 sets for 7-12 reps. Slowly increase weight as decrease reps.

After about 12 weeks of that, i go back to a 5x5 program. This will be my third time to do the 5x5. As a clue to the results..

Finished up my first 5x5 last April. Before it, my bench max was 325. Ended up at 335.

Midway through my second 5x5 in September, I maxed out at 345. Didn't want to max till end of cycle, but all my friends wanted me to.

So pretty much..I hit my plateau a while back and have to work my *** off to keep gaining.. In a span of 20-24 weeks I normally gain about 7.5-10 pounds on my bench max. My max in squats and deadlifts increase more though, mainly because I didn't start working out my back and legs until last January.

Between my 5x5 program, I do as you mentioned pretty much to give my musclces a break from heavy lifting.
