Obama, republicans ****ed this country the past 8 years, we need a change.

On the other side of that, why does the incompetent democrat lead and majority run congress, with their lowest approval ratting in history, get a free pass?

oh i guess that has nothing to do with the compounded rise in prices, adding in the annual rate of inflation and factoring in the decrease in value of the dollar - non of that plays in to this...

bullshit, the only reason gas prices are up so high now is because more and more people travel during the summer months - it is not a supply and demand state of affairs any longer - it is a demand and supply - anytime there is a perceived rise in demand there will always be a drop in supply - that is their justification for high prices.
tax breaks don't offest the initial investment required

The total problem with this is IT ISNT JUST A UNITED STATES PROBLEM. You have to be really ignorant to not realize this is going on everywhere in the world. You say demand is only up because of summer? What about the millions of new cars on the road every year? What about the world market going crazy over futures?

Again, my question to you is: What are you doing about these problems other than bitching?

exactly - people are working on it but there is no incentive to move to that technology either by corporations or by government.
what about ethonal fuel????? I know someone will post a link about the production blah blah blah - but how about the government paying farmers to produce the raw resources needed to produce this? Kindof like they do with tobacco.....get my point here - give the gov't money and they will make it happen

Our reserves are no where near enough to cause any major change in the price of fuel.
