[QUOTE="rjay, post: 7587680, member: 625965"] I finally got my components in and installed, which was a PITA, but nevertheless got it complete last night and a whole lot of whining coming through the speakers and it gets louder when accelerating. From searching, it may be a ground issue or rca/speaker wire interference, I plan to trouble shoot when I get off work, but had a question about the ground. I've got a 5 channel amp (Eclipse XA5000), and was just running the sub by itself, for about two months now, until I got my components. Since I just have the one ground wire to the amp, wouldn't this have happened through the sub as well if it was a problem with the ground? Because I never had any problems with that part of it.
