which would be lounder?

the revs are one of the best coaxials out there. i ran a pair of them for a while with 300 watts on the pair. then i ran a set of d661 components in my truck off the same amp, JL 300/2 if you were curious. the components were louder, but i honestly didnt think they sounded as good as the revs. either way, i was dealing with twice the power you were, so its kind of a different ball game. why would you be giving one pair 75 and the other 85 though? wow, i am kind of all over the place, but if it were me, i would give those revs all the power you can throw at them and then see where you are at, because with only 85 watts, those diamonds wont perform well at all, and when they do perform well, they are only a middle of the line speaker period. nothing to write home about.

sry...meant louder.....my amp only puts out 85 watts....i thought running much more than 65-70 watts to a speaeker that only takes 60 might blow it?
not a chance on blowing that speaker as long as you arent clipping it. shoot, some people around here run way crazy power to those, like 200 a speaker.
