I have a pioneer 6800DVD and I like it. It looks good and the fact that its a 6 disc in dash changer is nice as well

I've heard good things about the new Strada from Panasonic.

Can be had BRAND NEW for under $700.

They have a HD so you don't have to use a disk for the navi...

I got the Alpine W205 currently. I got it for the express purpose of double din and controlling the H701 however I think I am going to be looking into selling it and doing a carputer with a 10.4" in my dash and a 9887.

So far the unit has been great, I don't have it unlocked yet but have the TR-7 (thanks amoffitt) I have been using it primarily for DVD music discs lately and been playing through factory speakers without an amp so so I can't give a really in depth review. The touch screen and pulse feedback sure is nice though and if you use an iPod the full speed cable works good. I really like the way you can browse files on it and find the exact song you are looking for just by browsing through folders and such.

I would put out my vote for an Alpine (mainly for the H701) otherwise probably a Kenwood (seem to come with a little more expandability features built in)
