For the time being I will run a Treo SSX1500.1 at 1 ohm (3kw) to a DD 9515 off the stock alt. In the future I plan to add my boston z6 components and a two extra amps. I will have 1/0 wiring for the ground. Should I go with a Kinetik HC 800 or HC 1400? Will the 1400 fit under the hood of a 2001 Accord 4 door?

If you plan on listening with the car off, get the biggest you can under the hood and the biggest you can afford in the back.

measure and find out. i'd go for the 1400 if u can fit it. if u are adding another 1500.1 i'd def go for the 2400

I'm just planning to run a single 1500.1. And definitely i'll have the car on because i dont wanna screw up the alternator. It's a $70 difference and I'm wondering if its worth the 70 bucks. I can get the 800 for $120 shipped and the 1400 for $190 shipped (not ebay).

if this is an additional battery i would do an 1800 or 2000 just to be on the safe side. the way the kinetiks are rated the 800 is good for 800 watts the 1400 for 1400 watts. it can do more buut they are rated for the long haul safe use.
