^^^x2 if it was bba and bbb it would be different.. but if the amount of b's are the same and you add a letter afterwards no matter what it is it goes after the one with out extras

Actually it's for a computer science assignment, list the words and their frequencies in a given input. You have to do a binary search/insertion sort to check for membership of the current word in the word list to either increment the frequency or add the word to the list in the correct position.
