Which head unit has the best SQ?, Eclipse, Pioneer Premier, Clarion

In terms of SQ, features, eqs, etc, what is my best option? I would like the lighting on the unit to be all blue as well...that matters to me. Color screens of course are an exception.

The Kenwood KDC-X889 cannot do all blue, but you can do blue with small red accents which looks pretty slick. For example:

Sound quality is extremely good and the features seem almost endless.

I like the look, feel and price of the x889 much better than the 860mp, however the x889 can't do active...if you ever decide to go that route

The burrbrown kenwoods are a very ncie sounding deck. However out fo your list it is a toss up between the eclipse or the clarion, depends on what features it has that you want i guess. SQ is to the ear of the beholder, listen to the decks, check the features and then dive in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The Eclipse upper echelon decks are superior to Pioneers 860 and 960 but the 5435 is inferior to the 860. You're comparing lower level Eclipse to upper level Pioneer and quite frankly it is NO comparison.

the screen customizable,I prefer text vs scrolling pics and waves,dolphins etc

the presets however **** *** on a 889,you have to hit them twice to bring up

the preset screen which lasts 10 seconds or so - lame idea imo

and the info manual is the worst I have ever witnessed mainly due to its shared

Is that a stab at Pioneer?? LOL. Anyway, I wasn't referring to the display. I was referring to the face of the deck itself. Which has alot of lettering on it.
