It did fine on the headunit and with an amp giving it 70 watts rms the improvement was not much. It just became more balanced between woofer and tweeter. I later decided to go a bit bigger for a new 6.5 inch component set and got focal polyglasses for 200 which ultimately blew the mb quarts away. Although the focals did cost more, it was truly worth it and it showed me how little the mb quarts completed with these. Not to say mb quart is at all bad (i just got some qlines and they are completely amazing compared to the focals) but they mb quart discuses are not something i would get again.</p></blockquote><p></p>
