thats the exact one i ended up picking up from a local shop for 20 bucks.
why wouldn't you use dB-r? he treated me great, repair ended up not being the power supply, was loose connections that are apparently a common problem with this amp from vibration, so it was cheaper than what i expected. amp was at zed for 2 or 3 weeks before i wrote him asking what was up and he said he didnt have the tool for it. he shipped it to dB-r, and it was repaired and in my hands about 8 days later.
thought i'd update on the knob with what i found out from memphis though. the told me the older style mojo amps like mine, the remote gain knobs override the onboard gain setting. say your onboard gain is at 50%, and you turn the remote knob up to 100%, that would be the same as the gain on the amp cranked up all the way. weak sauce.
the brand new series of mojo amps... get this... its a freaking bass boost. why you would make such retarded bass knobs for such great amps is beyond me, but i'm all set with the rca gain knob.
what i dont understand though... when i first put the knob in, i'd turn it all the way down and it was about like 50% of the gain setting on the amp. after a couple days of some hard slamming, i guess my 18s scared it into working properly, and having it down all the way cut the signal to my amp completely. confuses the hell out of me... but at least it does what i expected it to do now.
