which 8's do you reccomend?

tc sounds and sound splinters are close to the same thing i believe.

tc sounds build lot of sound splinter stuff or they use the same design i forget. i believe the rl-i design = tc2000+ motor, rl-p = tc-9 motor, and rl-s = lms drivers

i personnally love the rl-i's i think they slight edge on tc 1000's but i think they are a little more, i like the new assassin 8's as well, do well in both ported and sealed and are great sql driver. for loud / spl. nothing beats the DD 1508 / 1008's. i seen 2 of those off 450 watts from sundown 100.2 in ported box hit miod 140's on tl

Mike-

loud is a based on perception..140db is loud, what do you think the sound splinter/tc's would do..135+?

rl-i = tc 2hp direct copy

rl-p= tc 9 with a few tweaks

rl-s = lms with some tweaks

tcsounds is soundsplinter's buildhouse.

i'll look, but i got high 130's from a single rl-i8 in a transmission line enclosure. gimme a few minutes.

the rl-i8's are little monsters, hard to beat all the way around.

i've got to head out, but i will find my term lab scores of the rl-i8 in a tl box in my wife's trailblazer

ported rl-i with 500watts = just as nice and more money in your pocket.
