AQ's will play the lows with no problem, and you don't have to tune at 40Hz. I prefer 35Hz for them and DD's...

GF has a single 15" Q in her car, and I have 2 AQ's, so obviously mine is much louder and tuned at 35Hz SQ is very good for daily as I listen to all types of music. Both are very good subs, just that the AQ will get louder...

Well you have some AQ's...so what's your opinion on them? Do they make mechanical noise? And how do your AQ's compare to Q's? on terms of "SQ" and spl?

i disagree audioques wont ever sound like Q's they are louder yea but sound wise they arent in the same boat imo

PErsonally id do one big *** loud and clean sub. i had a tc 5200 18 in 3.5cubs @ 34Hz off power from 2kw - 4kw. cleanest/loudest bass ive ever heard. The quality is great, and it's loud as hell. way cleaner soundign than the mt's, btl's, solo x's, and a few other spl woofers ive head. i can only imagine how nice the lms 5400's sound
