When u sell something that has been refurbished like a sub, do u include that in your AD or page? Lets say its refurbished but when the seller sent that item, you found out it was refurbished and u were just expecting it to be used, but its refurbished than used....... WOuld u send the sub back? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

A reconed sub? Does it look reconed? who did the recone?

if it was just joe shmo who did the recone and it looks like crap I would *****, but if it was a factory refurb I wouldnt mind. Reconed subs are usually better than production line, depending on who built it

If it was an amp, I would be pissed if they sent me a refurb, because once an amp blows it has a tendency to keep doing it unless they replace the entire board

Refurbished and used are the same thing...Refurcished can mean that nothing was wrong with it, it was just looked over to be in 100% working condition.
Not... really.

Refurbished is getting something that's broken, and fixing it with either new or used parts.

Used is a unit that's just been used but never broken.

As to OP: I'd demand a refund. Refurbished and used == Used. The amount I would pay for a used refurbished item is less than what I'd pay for a used item.

EDIT:: Wait, it's a sub? Keep it. They probably just reconed it.

OK im not sure who did it.. but i can see the white glue of the back of the sub... plus there is a kicker facotry refurb paper in the box that was sent to me

Yes really...

As I said earlier, its not always damaged goods.

refurbishing

Definition

Servicing and/or renovation of older or damaged equipment to bring it to a workable or better looking condition. Refurbished goods are of older model and usually in worse condition than reconditioned (see reconditioning) goods. See also rebuilding and remanufacturing.

WEll i received a sub that i thought was used but found out that it is refurbd. and it seems like the glue shouldnt be there but im not sure

Tell him its crappy and you never wanted a refurbished sub. Tell him you wanted a ragged out shitty used sub instead of a fresh reconed hardly used newish one.

is it supposed to look like this: ? im asking cuz im not sure

id almost rather a refurb than just used. if it was used by some moron it could of been beat to hell and within an inch of dying. being refurbed chances are its in like new condition.
