when did kinetik batteries go from black to blue?

i see alot of blue and black is there a difference or just a switch of colors and when did they change this so i know how old these might be

Ask audiolife, he would probably know the approximate age/time frame.

I believe the change came when they changed names from HC Power to Kinetik. But I'm not for sure when that happened though.

Also, the only difference that I'm aware of is the color of the casing.

i bought my 1400 at teh same time as my 2400s... 1400 is black 2400 is blue
