Online IQ test = inaccurate form of testing IQ.
Decipha scoring anything over a 113 = hell freezing over.

I took an evaluation test in Kindergarden. It took well over 2 hours to complete it. There is no way a 50 question online test can evaluate your mental IQ.

^^ agreed. I even mentioned IQ tests have many flaws... The one I took, only covered several types of intellegences... And according to some theories, there could be up to 9 intellegences. I don't know. It doesn't hold much value in life except for bragging to your friends, but my guess is that usually people who do well in school, will do well on these tests and do well in life... I'm just an exception... I think I did well and won't go anywhere in life.

Most real IQ tests take age into account when calculating a score. I remember reading a while back that your IQ peaks between the ages of 9 and 12.

IQ stands for "Intelligence Quotient", which means your IQ should stay the same throughout your lifetime. Your IQ at 5 and your IQ at 30 should be about exactly the same. Quotient basically means it is a ratio between how old, divided by what you know. It does vary throughout your lifetime, but not significantly. That is why an IQ tests really measures how intelligent a person is.

So him saying he got an IQ of 140+ when he was 11 does make sense. It doesn't mean he knows more than a person with an IQ of 140 at the age of 20 though. He is just on path to be as smart as that person at age 20.

But is 148 or whatever he said a reasonable score? If so I believe that puts him somewhere aroung the 99.9 percentile for Americans. I didn't look that up, but I remember it being somewhere up there.

151, about 4 or 5 years ago. Also scored pretty high when I was in 1st grade. I was told I was 7 pts away from genius in 1st grade so I'd assume that would mean I scored a 143. I believe 150+ is considered genius.

Genius is thought to be around 140-145. So you have made quite a big improvement since 1st grade.

But if you and that other guy really are in the 150 range that would be amazing. The chances of selecting 1 random person and them achieving that IQ is about 1.83x10^-5%. Square that to get the chances of randomaly selecting 2 Americans and having them both attain that level of an IQ. Not saying it isn't possible. But the chances of you and the other guy on here both having IQ's arond 150 are about 1 in 10 million according to IQ statistics taken in the United States.

Also, those numbers aren't exact, but give you a ball park of the chances of this happening.

And for the record. I also did an online IQ test and scored in the genius level. It then said since I was so intellegent I can sign up for their club and pay a nice membership fee. Honestly I believe many of the online IQ test are scams. Even the high IQ society place.

I'm in MENSA as well so I'm somewhere north of 132... but mensa doesn't give you an actual score... they just say your in the top 2%... I saved money on my car insurance and get all sorts of discounts on car rentals, hotels, etc.... also different tests give different ranges of scores so if white bread scored 148 it may be a different style of test.... oh and I wouldn't trust any online IQ tests. Only psychologists can properly administrate an IQ test. This is why Mensa doesn't give you an actual score....

135 when tested in 2nd grade...it ruined my education because I was put into gifted classes and I didn't do shit from 3rd grade until 11th grade due to those classes.
