run off of a stock 60amp alternator?

I alrdy have 5 1/4 type r coax front

6.5 type r coax in rear

and a 550watt amp powering them.

whats the highest power amp and subs i can get while keepign the stock alternator?

i was thinking of getting 2 12" type r's but not sure if my car can handle it?

i ran 1200 of of a geo tracker stock alt and my lights dimmed like a ***** dont do it

I am running almost 1300W RMS in my SUV with stock battey and alternator, but come to think of it my alternator is 120amps.

You say you have 550W right now (I am guessing 200W or so RMS?). You might get away with a sub, but probably wouldn't be able to feed it more than 250W RMS.

if done properly you should be able to push about 2000 clean watts total.....
