What are the downfalls on having a distro block for power and ground?

See....I guess I'm like a renegade or something 'cause I don't even follow accepted wisdom and fuse my power cables.ok, thanks for straightening things up.
I thought i had to fuse up my distro blocks, for a reason. i guess i dont need to. yay!! thanks.

I know all the arguments and facts hat support such an action as a good idea but as of yet in all my years fooling with aftermarket car audio I am content to depend on the fuses in the amp(s).
So far I've not been given reason to regret it....
If you're really concerned about it, however, they do make fused distros so you won't have to add them inline on the power cable...
