Alot of you know that I have contemplated getting out of car audio for quite some time now. The hobby just doesn't thrill me like it has in years passed. I have a love/hate relationship with car audio.

Well, I just recently bought a Harley Davidson.

I know pickup the damned bag full of leaves and paint the damned door.

I have always been a bike guy, every since my first bike back in 1986. And old school 1981 Honda CM400E. I have owned several over the years. 1986 Honda CB750. 199? Kawasaki ZX6R, 2007 Honda VT750, 2011 Kawasaki Z1000, and now the Harley.

Now, would you in all honesty, if you found another hobby that thrills you more than car audio? Leave car audio? I would love to take the money I have in car audio and invest it in the Harley.

I wouldn't just strip my vehicle builds down and listen to stock, but if it no longer interested me I wouldn't do anything further. If I found something I wanted to invest my time/effort/money into, whatever previous hobby doesn't do it for me anymore, why keep doing it? Go balls out, pimp that bike out bro. And since your leaving CA, send me some gear my kickers will thank you.

I would start up my new hobby and leave my car as is, assuming it's playing lol. You'll find as you get away from it all how happy you are with what your car does. That's how it was for me.

This. People are idiots. People riding bikes can be idiots too. Those idiot bikers contribute to the bad driving of everyone else. I've known too many people that ended their lives way too short on a bike. As fun as they are I just can't see myself getting back on one for more than just some fun zipping around.

I've got 2 hobbies....car audio and fixing/building up my 66 GTO and trying to get more power to my TT toyota Chaser up to 450+hp. All cost a good amount. I wouldn't give up car audio, just would be cheaper equipment

Sounds like you already made up your mind. I got out of car audio around 2006 and picked back up year or so ago. Just hit the pause button, but I regret selling all my stuff only to start from scratch again.
