ok i sold a kenwood amp on craigslist this morning. well the kid calls me up tonight and tells me the amp went into protect on him. its a kenwood that says 1 ohm stable but they do not give a rating at 1 ohm. so im guessing he ran it and 1 ohm. even though he did not know what ohms his subs where. the amp was working perfect when he tested it out by hooking it up to his subs be4 he gave me the money. so im probably going to take it back. what would u guys do?

tell him he is a noob and he needs to learn how to use his equipment properly or GTFO of car audio. he probably was using bass boost with the gains all the way up

and don't take it back, it's his fault not yours. You did nothing to the amp, why should you take it back?

tell him to **** himself, he bought it and saw it working, your not responsible for him breaking it.

Unless you told him it was 1 ohm stable...

And if offer to help him try to figure it out but i wouldnt give him money back

Sold as is, means sold as is.

I'd point him to an online wiring diagram, but the amp is his.

Lesson...don't sell to kids. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Everything above me = truth

Tell him you sold it to him with a walk away warranty

As in, as soon as he walks away, the warranty expires
