What would u rather do? Two 18 BTL's or Four 15 Xcons?

Torn between the two. 4400 RMS. 20 Cuft @ 30 hz.

Two 18 BTL's or

Four 15 Xcons?

Almost same cone area. Same power. Xcon's would have a lot of headroom left for more power someday. They are rated at 1750 rms. Xcon's may sound better too. Obviously btl's a lot less work to install, being 2 vs four.

4 15" Xcons

There are too many 2 18" setups...and btls at that. Plus more cone area.

(4) Xcon 15's would be my choice.

The (4) 15's will be over 3200 sqcm of port area, (2) 18's will be just over 2400 sqcm. (4) 15's is a 30% increase in cone area.

Yeah I've been leaning towards that for those reasons. Bahwha oh the insanity.

xcons have alot better motor, at least for playing music and cone area will ensure they should be louder than the BTL's overall. I'd do the the Xcons, no question.
