Hey i need some help i got 2 6x9 bouston acoustic's and i thought i could of went to the place i bought em from cause i got a warranty but he said they have to be fully blown what happens if i fade to the right rear it sounds really faded but if u gently press down on the speaker it plays fine at full volume and all good what would that be i need some help thanks:)

Yeah i know i can't figure it out either but u can't tell unless to that speaker i just bought some nice 6 1/2 alpine door speakers though there 250 watts a piece orignally $140 guy cut me a deal since i know em sold em to me for $80 but i still wish i could figure out whats wrong with that 6x9

So, youre having trouble with an item you have a warranty on, and the shop wont take care of it? Because its not "fully blown"?

Plug that bitch into a wall socket, then take it back and ask it its blown enough now.

haha not a bad idea but u guys got any ideas of what i could maybe check i mean u can barely hear it cause my new alpine sound great but if u fade 2 rear oh yeah u can tell the diffrence

thats not a bad idea i'll check that thanks man i was actually thinkn bout checking the fuses also maybe one is like shorted out or the clip into the stock amp that runs the speakers is not clipped in all the way ill look at those to

You were doing decent up until this post.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif You haven't already bought those subs, have you?

Anyways...take the 6x9's back to the shop and tell the salesman that they are not functioning properly and he'll either repair/replace them under warranty or he'll be pooping 6x9's for a week.

Also, don't plug them into a wall socket....that just gives them a reason not to warranty the product //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
