NO DOUBT...DOWNFIRE This is one topic I can say I know very well!!!!! I own a 1992 Ext Cab and debated this for years...TRUST ME THERE IS A **** GOOD REASON WHY THEY MAKE DOWNFIRES!!! EVERY CUSTOM ENCLOSURE FOR EXTENDED CAB TRUCKS...FROM JL to MTX to Q LOGIC..ALL Downfire for a good reason I gotta a Veteran guy who has owned a shop for 30 years who honestly installs 50% of his systems in 1988-2004 Trucks...He showed me the LIGHT...The Downfires sound amazing..For some Reason the Straight fires sound Terrible in Trucks??? In Fact I have "NEVER" seen a "quality" system have straight fire subs, accept for maybe those guys with like 8 JL's in the whole rear portion of the cab... I cannot emphasize it enugh....They made Downfires because of the Improvement..Thats the only reason ANYONE would create a Box that intentionally points the Subs down and out of the view of the Owner...ONLY BECAUSE IT SOUNDS SUPERIOR Check these out..BEST AROUND I ASSURE YOU!!!
