What TV shalt I get?

Amazon doesn't like my CC or my bank acct apparently, they keep denying either of them. I used my CC yesterday and spent about $400, so there's no problem with it...and I just got off the phone with the bank, I have more then enough available funds.
Amazon=gay.

My bank wont do any purchases over $600 on my debit card unless you call them and give them the heads up. Are you just asking for a balance, or telling them about the problem?

It's all automated. I've made large purchases before, biggest one was IIRC $1300, no problem with it.

I put in my CC # differently this last time, did xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx instead of xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, did it about 5 minutes ago, they haven't declined it yet, so we shall see.

Well it was in fact my limit...I guess when I got my new CC a few months ago my limit went back to default or something...anyway, increased the limit, and going to place the order again in a few minutes.

Also, Amazon has free supersaving shipping, which takes a little longer then standard...but they also have free standard shipping, so I should get it no later then the 4th.

Also bought all the necessary cables from Monoprice- picked up an HDMI-DVI cable to go from cable box (HD box here only has DVI) to TV, and component to go from DVD player to TV.

Probably going to upgrade to an upconverting DVD player in the near future- the Oppo units get high praise on AVS, been looking at those.

Going to get to Target and pick up this stand sometime next week most likely:

Don't get the OPPO. I was going to, then decided not to... might as well get the HD-DVD add-on for the Xbox360.

If you get the add-on and VGA cables, it will upconvert your regular DVD's, AND you'll have HD-DVD... for like $30-50 more.

Yeah, I was thinking about just going the HD-DVD add on route...for the time being I'm going to stick with my regular DVD player.

Yeah, originally I looked at the 4666W, then I saw the 4676S, but that actually would have cost more then the 5086W.

i went to bb today to look at the tv's, and $ for $, the dlp's, whether 720p or 1080p are hands down the way to go

and i can't believe how affordable the 50" tv's are!!!

that should be a nice set, if i didn't live in the ****ing ghetto, i'd probably get something similar

Yeah, originally I looked at the 4666W, then I saw the 4676S, but that actually would have cost more then the 5086W.

The 4676 was on sale the other day at CC for 1200. Not sure what u payed for the 86 but im assuming prolly a g or so right?

What I like about the 76 is not only the slimness of the unit but its almost half the weight and the casing aroun the the screen is actualy alittle slimer aswell (more tv then plastic) lol. The connection being on the side is a nice touch too. no more crawling behind the unit.

Ull be happy with the 86 series tho, Like I said no complaints. 87s series seem to keep coming out the factory with defective ballasts or just a bad bulb

But the 76 doesn't have free shipping, the 50" did. The 4676 would have been ~$40 more IIRC.
