Hey guys
I'm real torn on where to tune these subs at. I have a box made just haven't completed the front side until i decide how long to have the port tube. Each sub has it's own chamber which is 2.25 cubes after displacement. gonna go with a 4" piece of PVC rounded off at both ends is this big enough? each sub is gonna see approx.1200-1400 RMS from it's own PG RSD 1200.1 @2ohm's. These are gonna be street pounders for music(mainly rap) and the occasional test tone. I've done a ton of research and most people who have heard these say tune high. I'm thinking of going anywhere from 34Hz up to 40Hz. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
I have never listened to a DD sub.... just bought them on impulse knowing they are badass from all the stuff I've read. they go loud and pound hard. I have a pg EQ as well as a BASS cube so i can tune one Freq where the box hits hardest. All you DD experts let hear what you have to say.
thx
