what to use with hooking up iPod to Alpine CDA-9835?

if i remember correctly the 9835 uses the KCA-420i
well, i know about the interface... but i dont want to use that, since its slow and you can't have over 255 songs per playlist. so i was wondering if its better to aux hook it up through the headphone jack -> audio cable or direct connect to that ai-net cable?!

they will prolly sound the same to your ears..

That cable you linked goes from ainet straight to ipod... less possibility here for interference...

the other cable will go ai-net to rca and then you are going to need to go rca to headphone or ipod jack..

also the output from the ipod connector is diff from the headphone output.. you might get a cleaner sound going thru the ipod connector..
