Well I have 1 BTL 18 right now. But I want to have two later on with 2000-4000 on each and still juice the mids and highs. I just want to put the electrical in now so I can add to it as I go. But what number am I looking at for the battery to handle the alt? Or is this the regulators job?

Alright on that basis do I just go as big a batteries as I can. I havent had a system that demanded the power so I haven't really focused on anything beyond the BIG 3 which is done. Id like to find a **** dual alt bracket so the 300 is running just audio and thats a pain in the *** it seems too.

You're only running 4k RMS.. I highly doubt you'll need to run separate alternators. You'd be suprised at what a single 300amp alt can do..

Yeah I feel ya there I just figured what the hell. So just get a big a batteries as I can fit? Optima, Kinetik, Powermaster cells????etc.

A Kinetik HC2000 will be plenty under the hood. If you plan on scootching up past 7k RMS, you're going to want to think of something like an HC2400.

Alright cool thanks Bill I appreciate it. One more question and I got her figured out if your cool with it. Now The big 3 and the alt and kinetic Im sure has no hazards to the vehicle?

If you want to be completely safe, fuse the line that connects the battery positive to the alternator positive.

Your system runs off the alternator, so I personally wouldn't worry too much about the battery unless you run with the car off. I'm assuming you are talking about an under the hood battery.
