What to look for in HU

I have no clue about HU's at all. tell me what I should be looking for, I plan on running my mono amp and eventually a 4 channel. So I know i need 3 sets of pre-outs. But what else?

Signal-to-Noise ratio is usually a big one. The higher the decibel rating, the less distortion and unwanted noise. Anything about 90+ dB is pretty good.

Also look for high-ish voltage (4V or higher is good) pre-outs.

Are you looking for single or double din?

Depends on if you are wanting a spl deck or a sq deck. Is this just a daily deck? Do you need all the bells and whistles? Double din or single din? Do you need nav? Do you need a dvd player? How about usb capability? Bluetooth? Ipod?
