What To Get? Like New CDT 07.3's or New Boston Acoustic Z6's

Alright I can get Like New CDT 07.3's for $700 or New Boston Acoustic Z6's for 570, are the 07's worth extra 130? and what would you get....I want LOUD with Great SQ.....

3 way vs a 2 way and the cdts have amp sized crossovers. im pro botons myself but cdts have a following

yea thats what I was thinking to...those crossovers are huge....and I Do like my BA 6.4 (though I also liked my CDT EF's and HD's to)...and it would save me a bit of money..hmm....

i wouldn't spend that much on components....personally i'd rather go diy and run a nice 2way active set up. Some seas excels and ribbons.....mmmmmmmmmmmm.

When you include the added cost of an active crossover, more amplifier channels, more wires, etc.....you can be money ahead by going with a pre-built set. And, when looking into something like the Z6, they are definitely not a bad option as they sound fantastic. Plus $570 for the Z6 is a pretty good deal.

yeah, those are both really good deals. i'm just kinda bored with components and their passive crossovers. I just love to tinker with stuff. Trying out different mids and tweets, finding those perfect crossover points and slopes. Not to mention once you have an active setup, it becomes very cheap to try out various drivers as there are tons of really great diy drivers are between $20-75.
