got a alpine cda-7893....right now im runnin a crappy eq thats poopen out...should i go ahead and use my h/u cross over or should i use my mtx external x over ....

im a big fan for eq's outside of the head unit,,

i'm not a huge fan of x-overs built into HU's so i would use the ones on the amp.

The HU x-over is not bad and is easy to mess with. If you have the MTX x-over there is no reason not to use it either. It really won't make a difference either way. The external component is just one more thing you have to worry about wiring and one more set of RCA cables that you have to run.

i guess the easiest would be to the h/u first...and if that doesnt work out ill do the mtx...thx guys
