3.5 for each? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

No... Total... Okay, yah, sounds good...

I'm looking to stuff them in my Porsche 924s, I want the box and subs to weigh as little as possible while retaining ultra cool SPL/SQ effects you get with 3 high quality 12's.

Thanks for the help, nVruckus. THis sounds like a good idea.

Why not do one or two if weight is a problem?
I have a small penis, LOL...

Well, I want this system to have relatively high SPL. I know SPL= weight and power. I don't have much weight or power to work with. Since w6's are efficient in their own right, they won't need gobs of power to achieve their output. I don't think one 10 or one 12" will suit my output wants. My car is fairly rare and finding an H.0 alternator to power say a 10" XXX or something of the like in a 3 cube ported box would still equal about the same weight.

Is there any way to make an enclosure out of balsa? (I don't know if you could get it rigid enough for heavy-duty bass but it is certainly some light-ass wood....)

Outside of that I think going with three 12s in the hatch of a 924 is going to be some weight, friend. Somewhat inescapable //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Yah, there is a kind of wood that weighs less but is LIKE MDF, I dunno what it is.

I'll be removing some weight (the backseat) and fabbing the subs in where the backseat was... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
