What to do with 3 cvrs

Don't call it a comeback
Well I forgot I had another cvr12 settin around here and I got to thinking should I make a differernt setup with this sub too. I currently have 2 cvr12's with a kx600.1 runnig them. Should I make it 3 cvrs and get a new amp or what? I can make my own box so thats not a problem. I have heard somewhere that people don't like runing 3 subs so I dunno. Not looking to spend a lot of money cause its going towards some rainbows and a amp. Any input is good thanks.

Foursome ftmfw!

Three subs often create funky ohm loads... And three has bad chi energy or something... And people have something about pairs. The subs can't pair up. I just pretend my subs are lesbians so they are all happy, and this mental block does not affect me.

i ran 3 mtx 8000's (400rms) off a mtx 1500 rms amp at 2.67 ohm's...i thought it left somthing to be desired, though they were in a sealed box..

if i were you i'd sell your amp and the 1 cvr and buy a bigger amp for your 2 subs..

yeah, get more power on the 2. you could easily run double, triple if you are nice to it. I ran my PA 3000 @2ohms on my 2 CVR's

I've blown 5 subs with this power so either the amp is bad, or they have plenty of power.

So do you think I could run 3 cvr's and get a bigger amp? or would the ohm load be to weird?
yeah it'd be wierd but nothing new. as said i'd sell your extra cvr and power the 2 correctly. or get a much bigger amp that puts out ~2k@2ohm and run all 3 at 2.6ohms, maybe a kicker2500 for 1 suggestion

I just realized that I have 2ohm subs so would that make the load under 1 ohm? Then i would have to get an amp stable under 1 ohm.

ah thought they was 4ohm, same thing applies, i'm not good at figuring final ohm on triplets cuz i'm a idiot but figure that out and get a amp that puts about 2-2.5kw at 1ohm, to allow for rise. would guess about .6-.75 final load though.

My friend ran three CVR 10s off the same amp I have . I think it came out to be a 1.33 or 1.66 ohm load.

He had dual 2s also

Ight it would be a .666667 ohm load with the 3 cvr's. What kind of amp do you guys suggest that does 2k at .666667 daily?

Just wondering....shouldnt it be like 1.66.

I mean, it takes four dual 2s to make a 1 ohm load. So I think that it would be 1.66 being theres only three subs.

Am I right or wrong?

Thats just what I came up with I could be wrong but I dunno. ANyhow I still need an amp that does 2k at 1.66 or .667 or whatever it is daily.
