Maybe I'm odd, but if I have to think hard about how I'm going to spend money, I probably don't have a good reason for spending it in the first place.
When you actually have to think about what to spend your money on, your basically just wasting it. You cant just keep the money until you actually find something you want?
Or like Jim said, just freaking save it. Just because your parents are "well off" doesn't mean you should just throw money away because you got some extra....
