I plan on finishing off my system once the holiday OT kicks in, in the next couple weeks. I just most of my system put in last week. I stil want to replace my rear speakers and add a seperate amp to run my sub. My ride is a 2006 Saab 9-3.
What i have now
6.5 Type-R Comps
Alpine MRP-F550 Amp
JL 12w1 Sub
I want to replace the current 4" rear speakers with 6x9's. There's actually a pre-cut hole that allows you to easily add the 6x9's. I'd use the 550 to run the front and rear speakers. What are good quality 6x9's that will over good rear-fill SQ.
I also want to put my old school amp/sub combo but i'm a bit concerned about my charging system. The amp is an Infinity Kappa 202a amp rated at 600x1 rms and 200x2. The sub is an old school round 15" Solo-Baric. Do you think the two amps would put enough strain that i should replace the big 3?
