What #s you think i will hit

when firing back like that, the biggest thing you can do is make sure you got plenty of air transfer. more flow the better.
i have the stock tail light and 6x9s removed but the box is so tall that the ski hole doesnt matter open or closed. i may be able to scootch the box up a hair enough to open it up. ill find out when it gets daylight

meca style is harder to put up big numbers so with the build i saw im gonna say 142-143 tops. you gotta cut that deck or cut that firewall back there. other than that good stuff dude.

what have you done if you dont mind me asking.

The ski pass not mattering being up or down is a bad sign. You need to test with the box forward firing if that's the case. I really think you need to try a subs up, port side box and try to get the height down.

My trunk wall looked like that. And believe it or not, I was actually a few tenths louder with the back seat installed.

Have you considered a blow through? I did some pretty good numbers daily with a bandpass armrest blow through. I had (4) 8's in a 4 th order on ~ 3k doing 147's @ 35hz. I got a pair of 10's doing 148's but peakig higher. Not super friendly 4th order subs for that one though.

considered but that box is 5.5 gross maybe a tad less. the most i could fit is 7 gross. 4th=nogo

sub up port side i can try with these 12s. maybe 3.4 net @45hz for a nice spl gain

i dont think it would be worth me turning it around in all honesty. i did that once before with some hfi's did a 140 @ 47hz on less than 1k turned them around and gained :dontknow: i could try but that involves removing the subs taking the 70lb box out puting the subs back in putting the box back and rising damaging a sub against my 4 channel.

and to be really honest. my box is uber quiet if it isnt loading off of something. i have a feeling the 2 common wall port and the way i did it got funked up.

so i may just get 50$ in wood and some aeros for the sub up port side. do 2 6's with about 15* sq inches per cube around 40.

Ok. Yeah. Don't bother with trying it forward then.

I like the subs up, port side plan though. That orientation was best for me for daily and SPL.

Here's the box I did 50 (kick score) with. I don't recall the volume, but it was (3) 4" aeros. (2) Fi Q 15's on 2,600 clamped.
