No need to feel like your the odd guy just because you got a good system. It's like this--either they understand why you do or they don't (And might never). Some people don't understand why I like the idea of hopping up a perfectly good car. While other "Gear-heads" like me understand it just fine.
Here in Texas i've seen all kinds of people with "systems"; race does'nt matter; white, black, asian, hispanic--whatever. Imports and domestics, cars and trucks, systems from mild to wild. There are ALL KINDS of people out there who like having a nice sounding system.
So trust me, this is not something that's limited to one race--and it should'nt be. So listen to your tunes on your system, and if someone just does'nt understand, don't worry about it.

That's kinda silly that they think that. Yeah, most of the time when you hear a person's system beatin' it's usually rap music, and rap music is usually considered "black music". So I guess some people think, hey, leave that to the black people...And if you play your music like them, your trying to be one of them, and therefore your a wannabe.

Agreed w/ everyone. I am from Kentucky and im pretty counrty, but thats never stopped me from having a nice system. Its always been my passion. I have received criticism for it, but never listened.

I'm white - really white. Mainly play Slipknot, Mudvayne, Static X and stuff like that. Everyone thinks I am stupid for having/wanting a bangin' system. Its not that people are hatin on me for havin a system its just that they thinks its funny that i listen to rap and my cars soundsystem cost more than the car( 88 ford taurus 700$ still running no fixes in 4 month scince i bought it)
