I said the same thing about the 10g. Have you used Powerbass before, I've never even heard of the brand.

Different box, comps, and amp kit. Minimum 4 guage kit.

u can get a 4 gauge amp kit from knukonceptz for less than 30 shipped....keep in mind that buying online is a lot cheaper than the store, mainly because online stores dont need to pay rent.

the shop i work at...if you buy something online and bring it in we charge ALOT more to install it and don't give any warranty on labor.
support local dealers and they'll support you in the long run

If people know how to install themselves, thats a moot point.

The only problem I can see with buying online is the warranty issue. However, given the amount of money saved, its a chance that I think most people are willing to take.

I understand that part, but I mean you have to be realistic the internet has been around for years, and people have been buying stuff and now in todays society it is more regular to buy online. So you think the shops would budge on some prices and not make a huge mark up. But some shop owners kill me they would rather sell a few things a month to make the ends then sell a ton to make the same amount but have a good amount of customers. But the way they do it is still make the same and have a far less amount to warenty and worry about. To me it is pointless. I had a few local shops that I always delt with and they treated me great until it came to warrenty time. Shops give such a bs warrenty on things theres no point because 90% of the time they wont cover it and say it is user error. So if thats the case save the $100's online and if you blow something you have to repair it anyways or still deal with the main factory and pay shipping.Because more then half the time if you take it to a shop you still have to pay for shipping to the factory.
