i like to make homeade chicken noodle soup for work, make a huge pot then freeze a crap load of it, but if you dont have a freezer in the dorm = bad idea

Buy a grill, and practice. Cooking is easy, I cook nightly for me and all my roomates. They eat like kings for about 5 bucks a piece.
Pork loin and Pulled pork/chicken are my favorites. Of course this is closely followed by my special Garbage plate recipe

boneless & skinless chicken, hamburgers, hotdaawgs, grilled cheese sammiches are the easy things you can do.
pizza from Aldi's gets me through the week though...

grilled chicken breat with some ginger, seasoned salt, lil lemon and lime in fettucini w/ olive oil and crushed red pepper (salt to taste) = 10 dollar meal that feeds like gourmet
