Your take on how others should react is based on a wiki page? 🤣🤣🤣
And yet you STILL haven\';t provided a contrary argument that is more than just your own opinions.
Are you going to, or just keep filling up post space until it's forgotten that you were challenged and failed yet again?

Let's try again:

Tell me I'm wrong. Explain how self-preservation is not our innate #1 priority.
Provide something other than "because I said so".
I'll provide this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-preservation#:~:text=Self-preservation is essentially the,it a "survival instinct".
The really good part: "If perceived reproductive potential is low enough, self-destructive behavior (i.e., the opposite) is not uncommon in social species."
i.e. Those who know they are useless to the species are more likely to act in self-destructive ways.

Tell me how avoiding or ignoring an innate priority of survival that exists (even at the cellular level) is NOT lacking in common sense.

You're assuming I believed it was an E.L.E like you did...

If you read it, why are you asking inane questions that are answered by the data?

If we are limiting ourselves to the USA, the odds of a US citizen getting hit by lighting in any given year are .0001% The odds of a 40 y.o. male dying from COVID are 0.2%
I get what you are tryin to say, but lightning is probably not the best example to use, when COVID is 2,000 time more likely to kill you than your odds to be struck by lightning in a year.

We went backwards due to the 20% thing. You knew what I meant, can’t take everything so literal but since covid is here to stay, you would have to calculate the odds over a lifetime for lightning 😂

I didn't offer the COVID odds over a lifetime.
If you had looked at the chart or read any of the data, you would know that.

BTW - The odds of a person in the US getting struck by lighting over the course of a lifetime are 1:15,300, or .0006%
In a year it's about 1:1,200,000
And here's the curveball: There's a 90% survival rate when struck by lightning.

And yet people with common sense don't stand out in a field during a lightning storm.
Weird.

Shhh...Robbo just used irrelevant stats....
Irrelevant to the discussion of how deadly COVID was at a point and place in time?
Interesting. What stats would YOU use?

And before we forget your failure to address it:

I didn't perceive it as a dire death imminent situation...so your feelings on the situation don't mean anything to me...but of course you thought it was the end of the world so everyone is expected to feel the same...

So no matter what articles you post to support your claim that I have no common sense or survival instinct really keeps pointing back to you think your assessment was so superior to anybody else's...that those that thought different are beneath you and you're justified in belittling other people's choices...

That's the difference between us.. I really don't give any fcks about what you choose to do...but you expect everyone to follow your choices 🤣

And no matter what else you say...I didn't follow guidelines...didn't get the shot...and guess what...didn't get covid...

Seems my survival instinct is just fine 🤣🤣🤣
