You are trying so hard to be an apologist for him, but the actions of the public who acted based on what he said makes your efforts moot. When a company as big as Lysol has to release a public statement telling people not to take bleach following the presser of a POTUS, it tells a lot about what he said.

The words very obviously were not just a fluke misinterpretation by one person. MANY people heard the same thing and many people acted on it, resulting in an uptick of calls to poison control centers immediately after.

Convince yourself all you want that it’s pure coincidence and Trumps words had nothing to do with it. I’m sure it helps you to think he’s a great guy who is a true genius.
