Why bring up trump...what does he have to do with biden's character?

So it's OK for bird to cause unknown pain and suffering in his community...do everything he could to block equal rights for black people...all because late in life he basically said "my bad, minorities aren't all bad"...

But yet when a 10 year MySpace post comes up where somebody said something not in line with current dogma...it's cool to just cancel that person or force an apology...

And why is it OK for biden to claim, that a man who did as much harm to the black community as bird, as his mentor and you want to find a way to defend that...

"If the exposure to COVID-19 stays the same, as more individuals are vaccinated, more cases,
hospitalizations, and deaths will be in vaccinated individuals, as they will continue to make up
more and more of the population. For example, if 100% of the population was vaccinated, 100% of
cases would be among vaccinated people." - From the linked study.

What this study does not do is take into account those unvaccinated people that have had COVID-19. In my opinion this is an incomplete study.

What would that factor have to do with whether the vaccine is reducing the severity enough to keep people out of the hospital?

Wouldn’t it just go toward disproving the idea that the immunity built by having Covid is better than the vaccine?

How many of those in the ICU are unvaccinated but had the virus? I bet less than those with the vaccines. just my opinion.

Why does this matter? If people make the choice to get sicker, it’s on them. If your vaccine will make sure you don’t get hospitalized , why do you care if someone else gets it? Just get yours and be done with it. Personal choice and individual freedom comes at a cost. It’s not worth taking that away from people so democrats can have a fuzzy warm feeling of control. Just get your vaccine and shut the F up.

Except that a sick person can expose others (especially those with compromised immune systems) to a heavy viral load. As we've seen, the vax is semi-effective against omicron.

It's not a matter of control, it's just a little annoying to see science rejected. It's annoying to see the money & effort that went into warp speed wasted. It's a tad scary to know that going forward we'll probably see a greater portion of the population refuse to vax the children.

IMHO, something that should have united us, had instead divided us.

It should've but too many took it as either an opportunity to use it as wedge issue for political gain or an opportunity to see how much power could be gained...and yes both parties are to blame...

Science has always been rejected by people. it was far far worse in the 80s with science deniers and mainstream religious zealots. Believe it or not we’ve gotten better on our own slowly just by having more information.

Agreed, plenty of blame to spread around. Nevertheless, I do take exception to the rejection of science, especially when one side is tying itself in ridiculous knots in some misguided attempt to justify their rejection of science.

I was around for the 80s and I don't remember the rejection of science being anywhere near today's levels.

Really? The evangelicals even got Reagan elected. ”The moral majority” was a big group in the 80s and they didn’t trust science. I have to disagree here. As religion dies science grows and religion has consistently become less and less relevant with each passing year.

The vaccine is an experimental tech. It’s not been proven to be safe be science. That’s the problem people have, and germ theory is just a theory. Scientists can and are just as big of liars as the Vatican. They keep the truth to themselves and preach a false narrative to take control of societies.

‘Pfizer’s Covid vaccine brought in $8.8 billion in revenue for the second quarter, while sales of Paxlovid totaled $8.1 billion. The company maintained its 2022 sales guidance for the vaccine of $32 billion and is still expecting $22 billion for Paxlovid.’

So if we all work together, we can all mandate my box designs for happiness or some bullshit, then we can all make hella cash by getting to gov to mandate my box designs, and we’ll get them to sign a law, where if my boxes sound shitty, too bad. Can’t sue me and can’t not have my box; it’s perfect, almost Nazi like.
