Don't know that I've ever heard of 'Montley Crue' though Motley Crue rocked pretty hard back in the day. Their latest effort, however, was less than worthwhile.

Metallica rocked back when Burton was still alive and playing bass for them. After the addition of Newsted to replace Burton, though, they engaged in a steady decline to commercial success blah-dom that more or less totally abandoned what they were about before they got any radio airplay.

Whitesnake was pretty awesome when they were big. Those of us that were into them when they were a household name ~ who didn't drool over Tawny Kitaen (sp?) wandering about those videos?

All in all I must say that I'm glad the glam band movement has passed. Can't say that I'll miss the majority of the bands listed in the poll whatsoever.

Now I'll admit I pretty much boycotted metallica when that little cvnt Lars started all his bytchin against Napster. He was blitzed out of his mind most of the time on heroin and looked like he NEVER bathed. I know that was sort of the grung look but **** atleast wash yourself. My point is if the shotgun didn't get kurt the heroin eventually would have. Just like it got Layne Staley of Alice in Chains. Which, by the way was a FARRR more talented grunge band than Nirvana could ever dream of being.
